I love flowers and so everywhere I go I look for them. I know when my neighbors’ daffodils are ready to bloom and who has hydrangeas or black-eyed susan’s ready to flower. Riding down my road one day the mountain laurel was so abundant it looked like it was snowing in the woods. I mentioned it to my husband how beautiful the woods looked and he said that he hadn’t noticed. I thought, how can you drive down this road and not see the flowers? Well, the answer is that he is not looking for flowers.
What you seek you usually find. Those looking for trouble will find it. What does the Lord want me to seek? Perhaps the opportunity to minister and bless someone. Am I looking around as I’m on my journey to find someone or to do something that God has placed in my path to glorify Him? Or will I miss it because I hadn’t noticed because I am looking for something else or just in a hurry today.
Jesus came to seek me and He has said to seek first His kingdom and many “FLOWERS” will be added unto me.
