A while ago my husband had knee surgery and developed many complications. After several months of severe pain his knee was frozen because he could not move it as scar tissue developed. He could not walk and was basically paralyzed in that area. Unable to go to physical therapy, the scars increased so the surgeon recommended a manipulation procedure to break up the scar tissue.
Sometimes when we have a spiritual wound we won’t deal with it and the longer we wait the scar tissue starts. Our chief surgeon JESUS recommends a manipulation which entails bending and twisting to break away the scars and the start therapy to prevent them from returning. The process is painful but as He allows our circumstances to expose the scars that are hindering the wound from healing, we begin to obtain freedom, no longer frozen. His words to us provide the therapy to allow us to move on to an abundant life glorifying Him.
