Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

In 1 Timothy 4:12 it seems to imply that there were some fellow believers that disqualified Timothy because of his youth.  Qualified means to be entitled to a particular benefit or privilege by fulfilling a necessary condition. To be eligible to meet the requirement. The enemy tries to disqualify us unfortunately sometimes through the mouths of fellow believers. Some say you cannot hold a particular position because of your age, to young or too old, because of your GENDER, CREDENTIALS or SOCIAL STATUS. We cannot let this criticism hinder our obedience to God. We must remember HE says we are qualified.

1 Corinthians 12:18 states Now God set the members every one of them in the body as it has pleased HIM. We need to know the call God has on our life and never allow the enemy to cause us to quench or grieve the Spirit who alone is leading us to a position and people He wants to bless through our obedience.

1 Corinthians 1:26-31 26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. 27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in His presence. 30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— 31 that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.”

1 Corinthians 1:26-31 says God has chosen foolish things, weak things, base things so that no flesh should Glory in His Presence. He that glories let him Glory in the Lord.
